About Emarat Al Aman
Emarat Al Aman is an initiative launched by the Security Industry Regulatory Agency (SIRA) in 2018 to bring the community together through teamwork, focus and healthy competition.
As we enter the seventh season, we are raising the event to a more immersive and competitive experience. Our games test participants' focus, strength and memory while encouraging healthy competition between participants from many different organisations.
These Rules and Regulations are the main reference for all participants, teams and officials, and apply throughout the event.

Participation and Competition Categories
Every team registers under one participation category. Each participation category belongs to one of four competition categories, and a team is ranked only against the other teams in the same competition category.
How it works
- Participation category describes who your team is, such as Government Security, Ladies or Families. You choose it on the registration form.
- Competition category is the group your team is ranked in. It is set automatically from your participation category, as shown above.
- Teams compete for leaderboard places and prizes only within their own competition category.
Category rules
- All team members must match the participation category the team selects. For example, a Government Security team must be made up of members from government security entities.
- Family teams must be made up only of members of one family. The organisers may ask the team to confirm the family relationship at check-in or at any time during the event.
- A team can register in one participation category only, and each participant can be a member of one team only.
- If a team selects the wrong category or does not meet its rules, the organisers may move it to the correct category or remove its ranking, as explained in Correcting Registration Details.
Correcting Registration Details
If a team or participant registers with incorrect information, such as the wrong emirate, participation category, name, mobile number or date of birth, the organisers may correct those details, either at the participant's request or on their own initiative.
- Requests to correct details can be made at the reception desk or by email to info@emaratalaman.ae.
- Where a team is moved to a different category, its existing game scores move with it and are ranked in the new category.
- The organisers may ask for supporting information before making a change.
Scoring Mechanism
The team competition is made up of 12 games: 6 Mental games and 6 Physical games. Each game has its own raw score (points, time or levels). To compare games fairly, every raw score is converted into ranking points, and a team's final score is out of 10,000 points.
| # | Game | Weight | Points | Max score |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | The Maze | 12% | 1,200 | 5,000 |
| 2 | Quick or Quit | 10% | 1,000 | 6,000 |
| 3 | Memory Masters | 8% | 800 | 8,000 |
| 4 | Follow the Order | 7% | 700 | 8,000 |
| 5 | Mind Game | 7% | 700 | 4,000 |
| 6 | Spot It | 6% | 600 | 10,000 |
| Total | 50% | 5,000 |
| # | Game | Weight | Points | Max score |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | The Power Pull | 12% | 1,200 | 3,000 |
| 2 | Race of Excellence | 10% | 1,000 | 6,000 |
| 3 | Rising Together | 8% | 800 | 3,000 |
| 4 | Stomping Challenge | 7% | 700 | 6,000 |
| 5 | Trailblazers | 7% | 700 | 4,000 |

| Total | 50% | 5,000 |
From game score to ranking points
Game points = (team score ÷ game maximum) × game points availableThe result is rounded to a whole number. A score above the game's maximum counts as 100%, so no game can give more than its available points.
Example: Spot It has a maximum score of 10,000 and is worth 600 points. A team scoring 7,500 reaches 75% and earns 450 points.
Final score
Final score = Mental points (up to 5,000) + Physical points (up to 5,000), for a maximum of 10,000. All scores are whole numbers.
Scoring rules
- A team must play all 12 team games to appear in the category leaderboard.
- Each game's score is recorded by the game operator against the team's QR code and appears in the mobile app.
- Raw game scores are calculated by each game's own rules, explained at the game station.
- Individual games and Beat the Clock (the gift game) do not count towards the team final score.
Leaderboards
- Game leaderboards show the top 5 teams in each competition category for every game, ranked by raw game score.
- Category leaderboards show the top 3 teams in each competition category, ranked by final score out of 10,000.
- Leaderboards are updated live during the event. Final results are confirmed by the organisers after the event closes.
